Doctor W. Zacharia TIEMTORÉ is a teacher-researcher and entrepreneur. His activities professional activities started in the mid-1990s concern the sectors of communication, management, training and safety. They take place mainly in France, Senegal and in Burkina Faso. Academically, after his bachelor’s degree in electronics, he obtained a master’s degree in Sociology at the University of Ouagadougou. He also holds a DEA in policies and practices education and a doctorate in Educational Sciences from Rennes 2 University as well as a Executive Master in Development Policy and Management from Sciences Po Paris. Old Minister in charge of Literacy and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Employment, Business social and cultural and member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie, he is co-founder and President of the Higher Institute of Human Security (ISSH) of Ouagadougou since 2014. His areas of interest and areas of expertise are, among others, management and governance, conflict analysis and peace building, social change and intercultural relations, entrepreneurship, human security and humanitarian action. He is the author of three books and several articles and conferences on education, peace, security, innovation and development.
